Where Are the Religious Freedoms Idiots Now?

Anyone with a noggin knows why we don’t have prayer in school.  If you need a refresher, click here.  It is wrong to force someone of a different religion to participate one’s own religious practice…at least that’s the argument that led to banning prayer in schools (still an ongoing battle), and the removal of religious items on public land.

But where were those voices when the president is trying to force Catholic Americans to pay for contraceptives in the Obamacare law should they choose a private plan?  Read here from CNS News.

It says very plainly in the 1st Amendment, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…”  Naturally the US Conference of Catholic Bishops had objections, but where are the objections from the ACLU?  Why are the hippies still at Wall Street and not on the White House front lawn?

Liberals love to shove useless epithets like, “I wish people would work together,” or, “don’t be so close-minded,” down America’s throat.  Yet here the president is plainly not working with Catholic Americans and being very close-minded towards their beliefs.

I’m not catholic and have not intention of becoming one, but I stand up for their freedom to practice their religion…even if the person elected to uphold and defend their right do so won’t.

Not letting someone practice their religious doctrine that in no way inhibits the freedoms of another is tyranny.  And our idiot in chief is hooting and hollering about.

It Has to Start Somewhere…

Why is it when any conservative minded person calls for lower taxes the first hippie in earshot replies with cries of, “Anarchy! Anarchy! Don’t you want infrastructure? Roads? Clean Water?”  Aside from the fact that the federal government does not make tangible provisions for any of those things (with exception to the interstate system), it’s clear most leftists are using the same Alinsky ploy of demonizing any dissenting thought.

Now, the governor of North Carolina (a democrat) makes a very undeniable statement for “suspending elections” for the sake of the economy as reported by

You have to have more ability from Congress, I think, to work together and to get over the partisan bickering and focus on fixing things. I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won’t hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover. I really hope that someone can agree with me on that.

-Gov. Bev Perdue

WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT?!?  No, no, seriously…WTF?

How can anyone in their right mind ignore that this publicly elected official is seriously calling for the dissolution of the Constitution?  Well maybe her official BS shoveler can:

Gov. Perdue was obviously using hyperbole to highlight what we can all agree is a serious problem: Washington politicians who focus on their own election instead of what’s best for the people they serve.

This is the double standard in today’s politics that drives me nuts.  In the above statements a person of real political power is seriously suggesting we abandon freedom for economic safety.  No, but hey, whenever someone calls the governor out, those statements were merely hyperbole

Ah, so I’m guessing the good governor from North Carolina writes satire in her spare time?  Yeah, she’s a literary figure right up there with Mark Twain.

Nice try.

In case those idiots fell asleep in Political Science 101, worrying about elections is what keeps politicians true to their constituancy.  That about sums up the reasons to set up a democracy.

I’m not from North Carolina, I haven’t even had the privilege of living there during my military career.  But I am calling for her resignation.  The executive power from North Carolina cannot call for the dissolution of the US Constitution and just get a “pass.”  Sorry, that’s not how accountability works and if she has one iota of integrity she will resign.

If she doesn’t, then this will become a disastrous mudslide that leads to the death of outright freedom in this country.  I am not speaking of tyranny via bureaucracy, but a no-kidding despotism…and I already have a bad feeling about who would want to be our first dictator.

If this scares you, then call up the good governor and ask her to resign.

Christianity in the Crosshairs

Something like this is a stretch…even for California.  But charging a fee for a “church” seems to violate the very core this country was founded.

But lets put that aside for now.  I have to believe it is very hard to the county to just stumble upon this gathering of Christians.  More over, how was this Bible study found to be a Bible study and not just one of a million BBQ’s that Americans have on daily basis.

Everyone’s thinking it, but I’ll ask it: if these people were muslim, would Orange County still have made them pay a fine?

Joe Biden, the Tool

Someone, for the love of mike, staple this walking embarrassment to some playground equipment.  At least then, over time, people will just assume he’s some nut.

The CNS News article recounting his recent visit to China was more of an embarrassment than George H.W Bush throwing up on national TV during his visit to Japan.  I’m really not certain which quote is worse, the moment he sang praises to a genocidal murdering accomplice to Mao,

He then hailed Sichuan’s late graduate Zhu De as “one of the most illustrious figures and a founding father of the republic.”

or his consent to the egregious policy of forced abortions,

Your policy has been one which I fully understand — I’m not second-guessing — of one child per family.

The hard simple truth is that the man who is only one breath away from being the leader of our nation condones a full-fledged eugenics program.  The only question is, if he think’s gender selection and forced abortions are so dandy, what’s to stop him from implementing a similar program in the US?

Of course, in this country and the illusion of freedom we live under, forced abortions would not be the norm.  “Coerced” would probably be a more fitting term.  I can imagine another bureaucracy formed in which would-be parents would stand in line for two hours, fill out a mountain of paperwork, and then pay a $150 “processing fee”.  After a 6-10 week period, they would receive notice on whether or not the government granted them “permission” to procreate.  Married couples who have children “outside the law” could face fines upwards of $5,000.  The only exception would be the 16 and pregnant types.  MTV would no doubt lobby for this special interest group in order to keep ratings high.

Is the above paragraph so hard to imagine?  If you think so, please consider what our government has done in the last 10 years.  Time and again elected officials reward stupidity, laziness, and ineptitude through entitlement programs.  Why would a eugenics agency be so different in the government we Americans elected?  If this doesn’t scare you, I humbly submit that you start reading more news and get your head out of the sand.

…and while you’re at it, aggressively apply an ample portion of rigging tape over the VP’s pie hole.

Democrats Need Votes Too

So apparently the president picks and chooses what laws he wants to enforce.  I say, “apparently” like this is new information, but in reality he’s been doing this since he took office.  Just consider all his presidential fatwas

Then consider how the Department of Justice flagrantly broke the law during Operation Gun Runner/Fast and Furious.  Is it me, or are you perplexed about how silent the hippies are about this one, yet they couldn’t yell loud enough over the “illegal” wire taps of non-citizen terrorist suspects?

Now the president, no doubt feeling the heat from his last approval rating (is it below Bush’s yet?), and he needs voters.  So he breaks the law by picking and choosing who and when to deport.  Now one could assume that I’m referring to immigrant citizens who would sympathize with illegal immigrant deportation as those extra votes.  But I’m actually pointing the fact that ACORN-like groups will be out pounding the pavement registering non-citizens to actually vote.

You know what, I’m done with the snarky sarcasm.  This is nothing but 100 proof horse hockey and my bullsh!t meter is pegged out in the red zone.  The president is intentionally breaking the law.  And for what?  More votes?  So he can stay in power and become and even WORSE leader?  Nixon was impeached for less.

“I’m saying when the president does it, that means it is not illegal.”-R.M. Nixon.  I’m guessing that is the only history lesson BHO ever took to heart.

Ladies and gents, we no longer live under rule of law.  Instead we are ruled by a tyrant, a bureaucratic dictator.  God bless us, indeed.
